The Revolving Light is a fascinating device that allows you to change the colour of the light as you want, simply by rotating the external frames. Each light comes with a magnetic sucker so you can attach them over walls or tables through a magnetic base of light, and also take them down easily. Owing to this, you only need to rearrange the base of lights for different styles of light setups in the room. Try to put the lights between two mirrors to get a dreamlike effect. The Revolving Light will be exhibiting in the new venue of Chaihuo.
Kinect-powered augmented reality sandbox
The UC Davis has brought us an intriguing interactive facility this year – the Kinect-powered augmented reality sandbox. The device was originally designed to present the geomorphology of fresh water areas in the science and technology museum. Now as an open source project, anyone can make it for their own, all you need is just a digital projector, a Microsoft Kinect and a computer that can deal with the image information. Players can construct a home with the sand, or change the terrain of sand as they want, the processed images that show the fresh water stream will be projected simultaneously over the sandbox.
